Steps:
Turn Off Water Supply:
Shut off water from the main valve and ensure there is no flowing water within the home.Drain Water Lines:
Open all faucets, valves, and flush toilets to clear remaining water from pipes and tanks.Use Air Compressor:
Blow out the remaining water from the system using a compressor (usually at 35-70 psi).Add Antifreeze:
Pour non-toxic antifreeze into drains, toilet bowls, tanks, and traps to prevent freezing.Label and Secure:
Tag winterized fixtures and leave a Winterization Notice on the water heater or kitchen area.
